As Mark’s daughter, I’ve had a unique perspective of my dad’s passion for Becker and its people. Many of my memories growing up include my dad’s never ending sense of fairness, integrity, compassion, and service to others. From his time as a city council member, to his many times coaching a variety of skill levels from preschool all the way to varsity, he has always had the well-being of Becker citizens at the forefront. I met Mark in 1993 and at that time, he talked about his love for the town and community of Becker. It was very important to him that he continue to live and work in Becker. He spoke so highly of Becker and couldn't imagine a better place to raise a family.....he was SO right about that!!! Mark truly cares about his hometown and the people living here.
